Hawaii:
Producers holding a life insurance license and selling annuity products must complete a 4-hour, one-time training course in annuities by 1/31/2012. Producers who obtain a life insurance line of authority on or after 1/31/2012 must complete the training before selling annuity products.
Minnesota:
The Minnesota State government, including the Insurance Department, will be returning to work after the shutdown. Minnesota State Government employees will be recalled beginning at 6 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Insurance licensing functions will remain unavailable until Friday, July 22nd.
