In order for North Carolina resident and non-resident adjusters to renew their license, they are required to complete an online renewal application and pay the applicable license renewal fee through one of the electronic methods available. They must identify the adjuster group they fall into and follow the appropriate steps to make their license renewal payment online beginning January 31, 2011. All adjusters should print confirmation of a paid renewal fee and completed license renewal application. The Department will not mail renewal payment confirmation. They may use the Department’s on line agent information portal to view their current license status at www.ncdoi.com. Failure to complete the renewal application and pay the renewal fee by 5/15/2011 will result in their license authority cancelling effective 3/31/2011.
Arizona:
The Arizona Insurance Department and Prometric have jointly announced extensive changes to the insurance pre-licensing education curriculum outline. The announced revisions will be reflected on licensing examinations offered on and after July 1, 2011. Individuals preparing for an insurance licensing exam that will be administered on or after the announced implementation date are urged to ensure that their study materials reflect the most recent curriculum revisions. The new Licensing Information Bulletins will be available from Prometric online approximately six weeks before the test update.
