Washington:

Pearson VUE, in cooperation with the Washington Insurance Department, has announced changes to the insurance pre-licensing education curriculum outlines. The announced revisions will be reflected on licensing examinations offered on and after March 15, 2011. This outline reflects the new National exams that will go into effect for Washington on the same date. Individuals preparing for an insurance licensing exam that will be administered on or after the announced implementation date are urged to ensure that their study materials reflect the most recent curriculum revisions. The new Licensing Information Bulletins will be available from Pearson VUE online at www.pearsonvue.com.

North Carolina:

Please communicate this message to applicants who wish to obtain a resident insurance producer/agent or public adjuster license in NC. Agent Services Division has implemented an internal business process which they call FAST TRACK. However the FAST TRACK process fails when applicants do not follow the steps in sequential order. In fact if the applicant does not follow the steps in order, the result is a delay in licensure decision. For questions direct applicants to the Department’s website at www.ncdoi.com.
