Colorado Division of Insurance staff and the staff of Pearson VUE will conduct a pre-licensing informational meeting on June 22, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00. The meeting will be held in DORA’s new conference rooms on the first floor of 1560 Broadway – Room 110D. Alabama:
The Alabama Insurance Department has announced licensing and appointment requirements for business entity insurance producers. All business entity producers must be licensed and appointed no later than July 1, 2010.
Hawaii:
Effective July 1, 2010, a licensee shall during the twenty-four months preceding a license renewal, complete a total of 24-credit hours in approved continuing education. For a licensee authorized to sell lines of insurance in only life, accident and health OR only in property/casualty, twenty-one credit hours relating to the class of insurance for which the license is held, plus three credit hours relating to ethics. For a licensee authorized to sell lines of insurance in both life, accident & health AND property/casualty, the total required number of credit hours are 24 of which 10 credit hours must pertain to life, accident & health insurance, 11 credit hours must pertain to property/casualty insurance, and 3 credit hours shall pertain to ethics.
