Pearson VUE, in cooperation with the District of Columbia Insurance Department, has announced changes to their insurance pre-licensing education curriculum outline. The announced revisions will be reflected on licensing examinations offered on and after June 21, 2010. Individuals preparing for an insurance licensing exam that will be administered on or after the announced implementation date are urged to ensure that their study materials reflect the most recent curriculum revisions. The new Licensing Information Bulletins will be available from Pearson VUE online at www.pearsonvue.com.
Virginia:
The Virginia Insurance Bureau has advised insurers and insurance producers that they may now print licenses online. The implementation of this functionality has been the most frequently requested service enhancement by insurers and producers since the Bureau of Insurance (Bureau) implemented the Sircon for States system. Currently, when the Bureau of Insurance issues a license, it is mailed to the producer. Effective immediately, the Bureau will no longer mail licenses.
Massachusetts:
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Insurance is relocating to new offices effective Monday, March 22, 2010. The new address is: 1000 Washington Street, 8th floor, Boston MA 02118-6200. Phone numbers will remain the same.
