The New York Insurance Department and PSI have announced an “Open House and General Industry Day” which will begin at 10:00 AM on July 23rd at the Albany Airport Hilton Garden Inn located at 800 Albany-Shaker Road. The purpose of the open house is to ensure that the industry is aware of the upcoming insurance licensing examination changes.

Effective July 1st, 2009, all Claims Adjuster & Motor Vehicle Damage Appraiser license fees have been changed. The current license fee is a total of $170.00. This includes a license fee of $120.00 and an application fee of $50.00. The biennial renewal fee is $120.00.
