North Carolina:

The Commissioner shall not issue or continue a non-resident adjuster license unless the individual qualifies for a license as a nonresident by holding a like license in another state or territory of the United States. The Department of Insurance will confirm the active resident or designated home state license status for non-resident adjusters by 3/15/2010 through the national Producer Database (PDB). Non-resident adjuster licenses will be continued until 4/1/2012 upon verification of resident or designated home state license authority. If the non-resident adjuster’s license is not in good standing in their resident or designated home state, the non-resident adjuster’s license will be cancelled in North Carolina and a letter mailed notifying the individual of the license cancellation.

California:

This exemption applies to individuals who currently hold a resident license in the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington. Kentucky:

All insurance companies and insurance producers transacting business in Kentucky are notified that the Department of Insurance will immediately begin to accept documents and notices submitted on behalf of insurance producers through the NAICINIPR Attachments Warehouse, which will allow for the electronic filing of insurance producer licensing- related documents. The Attachments Warehouse is a secure regulatory database which electronically receives, stores and shares licensing documents with the states that are submitted with respect to applications and/or renewals of insurance producer licenses through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR), a non-profit affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
